Job Summary

Lead and coordinate permitting and approvals for a major airport program. Manage the Permitting team, develop governance and processes, liaise with safety, operations, and maintenance, ensure contractors’ permitting plans, integrate permitting across the program, and provide executive-level reporting and strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver the owner’s (client) permitting obligations across the program.
•Manage the Permitting team to coordinate and assure a robust permit-to-work process across the program.
•Develop and implement revised governance and processes required for effective permitting on a large program.
•Liaise with client departments including corporate safety and security, operations, commercial, and maintenance to coordinate permitting.
•Provide management and executive-level reporting and advise on trends and corrective actions; integrate permitting across the program.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 85,000 - 115,000 annually

Key Requirements

•University degree with 10+ years of professional experience in permitting and approvals.
•Typically 10+ years of experience in program management and/or permitting, consents, and approvals.
•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs.
•Thorough working knowledge of general and local requirements regarding 3rd party approvals, permits, and consents.
•Strong technical capability in all project phases (design, planning, construction, operations, maintenance) for large programs/projects.
