Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate the high-leverage backend systems that power Asana's licensing and consumption-based billing infrastructure.
•Own complex features end-to-end, from initial problem framing and technical design through launch and global iteration.
•Architect and improve critical systems for access control, usage tracking, and automated license assignment to ensure a seamless admin experience; collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Finance, and other engineering teams to turn ambiguous business needs into reliable, shipped solutions.
•Drive technical excellence across the codebase through strategic refactors, robust testing, and instrumentation that improves operational health.
•Magnify your impact by raising the bar for the team through thoughtful code reviews, design docs, and daily mentorship.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 176,000 - 200,000 annually
