Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and oversee a program for monitoring thermal performance of power generating equipment.
  • •Establish, update, and communicate KPI’s for the thermal performance monitoring program.
  • •Assess and help correct equipment degradation affecting plant thermal performance.
  • •Provide technical support, testing, and equipment inspection expertise across process areas for safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
  • •Implement performance monitoring software using process instrumentation and apply methodologies to quality-check key process variables.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Thermodynamics, or Industrial Engineering (or related); may substitute 5–8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • •Engineering or technical degree inclusive of college-level thermodynamics.
  • •BS in Engineering with three years or more of experience in Power, Refinery or Chemical process facilities.
  • •Knowledge/experience with thermal performance monitoring programs and methodology.
  • •Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, plus PI Processbook.
