Support clients in developing and optimizing procurement and funding strategies for greener, sustainable programmes aligned to Net Zero targets. Contribute to business case assessment, design and implementation of optimal solutions, and continuously improve advisory processes, tools, and systems. Lead clear, concise presentations and work confidently within a multi-disciplined team, delivering high-quality client care and helping progress business generation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimizing procurement and funding strategies to meet Net Zero targets.
•Assess business challenges, develop optimal solutions, and help implement those solutions across the programme lifecycle.
•Apply and tailor established processes, tools, and systems to client circumstances and contribute to their improvement.
•Use interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to drive adoption and successful realisation of business outcomes.
•Present ideas and outputs clearly, deliver excellent client care, and contribute to business generation opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Experience in project finance and/or business case development, preferably focused on de-carbonisation and Net Zero.
•Experience working with the public sector, managing transactions/projects in a public sector delivery context across multiple sectors and organisations.
•Understanding of UK policy guidance and economic benefit assessment, including social value, community benefits, and low carbon transition.
•Experience with de-carbonisation/Net Zero technologies and services, ideally including hydrogen, electric/zero-emissions transport, batteries, and carbon capture storage.
•Ability to prepare, define, and lead bid proposals and work closely with senior management and the wider team.
