Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect mechanical equipment and lubricate friction surfaces on moving parts such as shaft/motor bearings, sprockets, drive chains, gears, and pulleys.
  • •Fill and regulate lubrication systems by using oilcans, grease guns, and lubrication truck tanks; turn valves and force grease into bearings.
  • •Document inspection results to support predictive maintenance scheduling.
  • •Clean machines, sweep floors, transport stock, and maintain a clean, uncluttered work area.
  • •Report machinery defects or malfunctions to a supervisor and follow safety practices including PPE and hazard reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •6 months of work experience in an industrial/manufacturing/construction or landscaping environment.
  • •Maintain an updated forklift driver’s license (renewable every 3 years).
  • •Must be able to work long hours and tow a charged water hose.
  • •Be able to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently (and more occasionally) with required vision abilities.
