Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project design teams delivering civil and environmental engineering services for CCR/MSW projects, including CCR ponds and landfills.
  • •Provide technical direction and lead client-facing teams to support growth of civil design and environmental services within the Power market.
  • •Develop, present, and execute winning client strategies for new and follow-on contract bids; contribute to technical, management, and business plans.
  • •Mentor and coach team members; review proposals and support all phases of proposal development and post-submission activities.
  • •Travel locally and nationally up to 10% to support client meetings and project site audits.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with valid North Carolina PE registration.
  • •12+ years of experience in civil engineering design including significant experience with federal regulations of Coal Combustible Residuals (CCR) ponds and landfills.
  • •Familiarity with the power market and clientele.
  • •Knowledge of in-situ stabilization techniques and civil construction techniques related to CCR or other waste material.
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to express ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
