Key Responsibilities

•Lead project design teams delivering civil and environmental engineering services for CCR/MSW projects, including CCR ponds and landfills.
•Provide technical direction and lead client-facing teams to support growth of civil design and environmental services within the Power market.
•Develop, present, and execute winning client strategies for new and follow-on contract bids; contribute to technical, management, and business plans.
•Mentor and coach team members; review proposals and support all phases of proposal development and post-submission activities.
•Travel locally and nationally up to 10% to support client meetings and project site audits.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with valid North Carolina PE registration.
•12+ years of experience in civil engineering design including significant experience with federal regulations of Coal Combustible Residuals (CCR) ponds and landfills.
•Familiarity with the power market and clientele.
•Knowledge of in-situ stabilization techniques and civil construction techniques related to CCR or other waste material.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to express ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
