Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment to keep plant operations running efficiently and safely. Complete daily preventive maintenance, inspect and test machinery, diagnose malfunctions with supervisors, and replace or repair faulty parts. Follow LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Support production and quality teams with troubleshooting and assist with facility maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete daily preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on schedule to minimize downtime.
•Set up, visually inspect, and test machinery to ensure proper operation; diagnose and resolve malfunctions with supervisors.
•Dismantle malfunctioning equipment, replace or repair faulty parts, and restore functionality.
•Follow company safety protocols, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedures, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
•Assist production and quality teams with troubleshooting/repairs and help maintain the plant facility and environment.

Salary: USD 24.2 - 34.45 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years direct experience in the same environment.
•Vocational/technical diploma or an associate degree in technical maintenance or from a vocational school (preferred).
•Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with team personnel and outside contractors.
•Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
•Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
