Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead defined IT, workplace-technology, and digital-buildings projects/workstreams from initiation through close-out, managing scope, programme, budget, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • •Align technology milestones with construction, fit-out, and operational-readiness activity, including relevant RIBA Plan of Work stages.
  • •Coordinate technical and delivery interfaces across designers, contractors, vendors, and technical resources delivering networks, communications rooms, structured cabling, audiovisual systems, workplace technology, and related infrastructure.
  • •Manage procurement/commercial performance activities, including tender processes, proposal evaluation, commercial recommendations, and supplier coordination.
  • •Support testing, commissioning, handover, and operational readiness so intended technology outcomes are maintained; mentor colleagues and help raise delivery standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading client-side technology, IT infrastructure, workplace technology, or related delivery projects in commercial occupier, workplace, construction, or fit-out environments.
  • •Track record managing scope, programme, risk, budget, stakeholders, and delivery partners on complex or high-visibility work.
  • •Practical experience with technology infrastructure such as networks, communications rooms, structured cabling, telecommunications, cloud/on-premises, and audiovisual systems.
  • •Ability to coordinate interfaces between IT infrastructure, smart-building systems, operational technology, building management systems, and wider construction/fit-out delivery.
  • •A recognised project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM PMQ, AgilePM, or equivalent demonstrable professional project-delivery experience.
