Key Responsibilities

  • •Design portions of engineering solutions for manufacturing parts, component sub-assemblies, and final assemblies using established principles and specifications.
  • •Implement time standards, production area layouts, and requirements for manufacturing tooling and processes for new product subsystems.
  • •Develop cost estimates and capacity models, and provide recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
  • •Develop and review key indicators to measure factory performance and recommend actions to factory management.
  • •Collaborate with management and internal/outsourced partners to address manufacturing standards, compliance, and issues; produce written current-state analysis and recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or graduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Typically 2–4 years of work experience in engineering design and solutions (or a related field) or an advanced degree with little/no work experience.
  • •Experience implementing production standards, tooling requirements, and manufacturing processes for parts/components and assemblies.
  • •Ability to develop cost estimates and capacity models for tooling and process requirements.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory compliance for manufacturing operations and the ability to produce written current-state analysis and recommendations.
