Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform constructability reviews, support procurement through the bid process, review submittals (materials submissions, RFIs, shop drawings, Quality Work Plans, Safety Work Plans, Phasing Plans, Look-a-head schedules, Change Orders)
  • •Visit construction sites to monitor contractual compliance and quality of work by inspectors and supervision
  • •Provide direction and guidance to Contractors and project staff for construction operations and submission requirements
  • •Schedule and conduct regular job progress meetings
  • •Manage and administer contract payment requests while tracking budgets and project status

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a satisfactory equivalent (e.g. CCM or PMP certification)
  • •Minimum of 7 to 10 years of satisfactory, full-time experience in Design and/or Construction Management
  • •Infrastructure construction experience with the work of the MTA or similar public agency
  • •Significant experience in effectively managing small contractors on multiple projects while adhering to budget and schedule
  • •Excellent oral and written communication skills
