Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify strengths and weaknesses and drive continuous improvement.
  • •Coach, develop, and provide performance management for hourly associates; communicate expectations, measures, and goals.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory and partner with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on cost and overall quality.
  • •Train associates on Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time and reduce re-checks and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Experience using computers and demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting up to 60 pounds, extended standing) and follow safety equipment procedures.
