Key Responsibilities

  • •Prioritize tasks to ensure effective functioning of the area and support clinic operations
  • •Maintain and prepare medical equipment and examination rooms for use
  • •Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to Hospital Policy and Procedures on safety, infection control, and security
  • •Manage clinic stock and ensure no expired items
  • •Maintain a safe, hygienic environment in line with Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards

Key Requirements

  • •Nine (9) years of basic education with eighteen (18) months – two (2) years of Nurse Training, or twelve (12) years of basic education with one (1) year of Nurse Training; six (6) months Health Care Assistant certification course
  • •1-2 years of experience as a healthcare assistant or caregiver
  • •Fluent in English, spoken and written; Arabic speaker desirable
  • •Demonstrates skills in assessment of patient and family’s physical and psychological needs
  • •Heart saver / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
