Job Summary

Support Institutional and Retail Sales by providing liquidity and executing trades across residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities. Generate revenue through trading ideas and market insights, maintain and reconcile inventory positions, and ensure accurate clearing-system trade processing in line with compliance and industry regulations. File regulatory reports on time, monitor macro and regulatory developments impacting pricing and hedging, and deliver product education to sales teams and stakeholders.

•Execute trades in mortgage and fixed income securities to support Institutional and Retail Sales representatives.
•Provide revenue-generating trade ideas and market insights to sales teams.

•Monitor, reconcile, and manage inventory positions within departmental policy limits.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, M&A, or Capital Markets.
•Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain per company policy).
•Broad knowledge of the mortgage market, fixed income instruments, macroeconomics, and market structure.
•Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
