Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, design, and support delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, lift stations, booster stations, and treatment systems.
  • •Deliver projects through studies, condition assessments, preliminary engineering, detailed design, tendering, construction services, and commissioning support.
  • •Evaluate, plan, and design water and wastewater facilities, including pumping systems, treatment infrastructure, equipment selection, and hydraulic analyses.
  • •Prepare and review design criteria, process and hydraulic calculations, technical memoranda and reports, and contract documents.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary facility design requirements and support project delivery by managing scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and quality/safety expectations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 76,300 - 102,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in Atlantic Canada.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience delivering municipal water or wastewater pumping, treatment, and/or facility-infrastructure projects, preferably in consulting.
  • •Experience delivering water and wastewater facility projects, including pump stations, lift stations, booster stations, treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.
  • •Experience preparing technical reports, engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documentation.
