Job Summary

Own thermal and component design engineering within climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. Collaborate with global project teams to deliver milestones across quality, delivery, and cost targets. Solve technical problems through design reviews, develop and specify metal/non-metal components and assemblies, create DFMEA and test plans, and produce engineering documentation using PLM/PDM tools like ProE and Windchill. Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with project owners, leaders, and cross-functional global teams to deliver projects using standard processes and project management principles.
•Manage project milestones and deliverables against quality, delivery, and project/product cost targets.
•Participate in concept and critical design reviews, solve technical problems, and handle multiple projects concurrently.
•Develop concepts and design/select components, including creating component specifications for structural components (metal/non-metal) and assemblies, along with DFMEA and test plans.
•Create and release engineering documentation using PLM/PDM tools (ProE and Windchill) and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement design changes.

Key Requirements

•BE in Mechanical or a Masters in Thermal Engineering (or related specialization).
•3+ years of experience in component selection, system integration, concept development, design calculations, and design engineering in the current domain.
•Experience in product design and development phases, including hands-on DFMEA and test plan development, with exposure to prototype/engineering builds and testing.
•Strong knowledge of metal and non-metal component/assembly design, manufacturing processes, and basics of electrical system/components (advantage).
•Ability to understand material properties for materials selection and to drive root-cause problem solving using problem-solving tools.
