Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure correctness of payroll data by working with regional HR, Country HR, Finance, external payroll vendor, and auditors when needed.
  • •Review payroll processes and procedures, and make changes while ensuring adequate controls are in place and followed.
  • •Document payroll procedures thoroughly with proper checklists to ensure essential steps are followed.
  • •Recommend payroll process improvements and standardize payroll definitions across Europe.
  • •Interpret payroll data, analyze results, maintain relevant databases/systems, and provide ongoing reporting including monthly labor cost reporting gap identification between HR and Finance systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • •Relevant experience managing payroll activities for a Romanian or other European company, preferably in a Shared Services Centre environment.
  • •Ability to read, interpret, and act on payroll standards and procedures.
  • •Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and ability to understand and use HR systems.
  • •Strong analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail.
