Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to mechanical design and development activities for test tools, jigs, and mechatronic/electromechanical packaging.
•Perform design analyses and simulations to ensure functional stability, manufacturability, testability, and maintainability of mechanical systems.
•Lead concept and design reviews (PDR, CDR) and document design decisions.
•Identify key BOM and ensure compliance with ROHS & REACH standards and contribute to hardware architectural design.
•Execute CAD activities for machined parts, sheet metal parts, and assemblies for tools and fixtures.

Key Requirements

•CATIA V5 with a minimum of 5 years experience creating 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical assemblies and components
•Proficient in 2D drawings for machining parts and fabrication, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ISO GPS Standards
•Experience with Product Data Package contents (BOM, Item List, documents, components, COTS, configuration management)
•Ability to generate sheet metal and machined CAD models (Part & Assembly)
•Strong fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering (strength of materials, machine element design) and hands-on computation/simulation for mechanical stability
