Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on 12-week full-time projects with measurable business impact within NVIDIA Systems Software teams.
  • •Develop and integrate GPU system software components (e.g., runtime, math libraries) focused on power and performance and produce architecture/design specifications.
  • •Contribute to software security work such as hardening and building tools/infrastructure to scale security across large codebases.
  • •Design, implement, and debug graphics systems software including OpenGL/OpenGL ES/Vulkan drivers, platform support, and conformance tests.
  • •Support systems areas like compilers or firmware/embedded software by investigating optimization opportunities, testing firmware, and improving verification and tooling processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20 - 71 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a university pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field for the full internship duration.
  • •Provide an anticipated graduation date (month and year) on your resume or CV.
  • •Course or internship experience in relevant areas such as operating systems, multithreaded debugging, Linux kernel development, RTOS development on embedded platforms, or low-level development.
  • •Depending on the role, demonstrate knowledge of programming skills/technologies such as C/C++, Linux, computer networking (TCP/IP, sockets), and data structures & algorithms.
  • •Be prepared to work on systems software topics including architecture/design specifications, performance and power, and security or reliability across the software stack.
