Lead and oversee FinCrime-related internal audits from planning to reporting within Wise’s Brussels EU IA team. Drive data-driven testing, assurance frameworks, and risk-based audit plans; mentor and build a capable audit team; ensure regulatory alignment (EU AML directives, FATF, Wolfsberg) and effective remediation of audit findings through collaboration with stakeholders.

•Proven experience in risk, control or assurance roles and delivering high-quality audits, including testing of controls; ability to plan and scope audits with risk-based test plans; experience leading teams and ensuring timely, high-quality outputs; strong data analytics capability and preference for data-driven approaches; knowledge of EU AML directives, FATF and Wolfsberg Guidance; professional certifications in financial crime (CAMS, CFE, ICA Certification/Diploma, CIA) and experience testing financial crime controls in regulated environments.
