Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform, inspect, review, and certify heat treatment, plating, peening, and other surface treatment maintenance activities in line with approved technical data and authorization limits.
  • •Verify process parameters and records (e.g., temperature, duration, chemical concentration, pressure, intensity, coverage, and surface condition) before certification.
  • •Review components and materials before/during/after processing to confirm suitability, conformity, and compliance with acceptance criteria.
  • •Ensure accurate completion of work orders, job cards, process records, inspection reports, treatment charts, and supporting documentation within required timelines.
  • •Maintain safety and compliance by verifying equipment/tools are approved and calibrated, controlling traceability of materials/chemicals, escalating non-conformances, and supporting audits/corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate Degree (2 years) and a Diploma in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • •Fluent in English and 3 years relevant experience, including 2 years from the aeronautical industry covering aircraft/component/workshop maintenance.
  • •Hands-on experience in peening and/or plating operations.
  • •147 approved GCAA module 9 & 10 is mandatory.
  • •UAE GCAA basic license without type or company authorization; previous company authorization and relevant shop-scope training are preferred.
