Job Summary

Lead day-to-day subsurface utility engineering (SUE) field operations, managing multiple field crews and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence across diverse projects. Interpret utility drawings, as-builts, and GIS data, coordinate utility records requests, and use geophysical and surveying tools (including GPR, GPS, and Total Station) to locate utilities. Perform QA/QC, troubleshoot field issues, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

•Ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines across field teams and projects.
•Create and maintain field crew schedules and ensure projects meet communicated schedule/budget.
•Read and interpret utility drawings, as-builts, and GIS files; process and document utility records requests.
•Use geophysical equipment and surveying tools to locate utilities, perform field audits and QA/QC, and troubleshoot technical issues in the field.

•BS degree plus 4 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalent).

•Frequent travel to field locations, including overnight travel.
•Valid U.S. Driver’s License and willingness to pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
