Job Summary

Lead food safety and quality management system compliance for human and animal food manufacturing facilities across the upper United States. Based in Sioux Falls with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), you’ll govern QMS documentation, monitor quality performance, manage non-conformances and CAPA, oversee internal and external audits, and coordinate training to strengthen quality culture. Travel to regional facilities is required.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring policies, procedures, and work instructions are current and controlled
•Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement based on quality metrics
•Lead investigations into customer complaints and product non-conformities, developing and implementing CAPA and verifying effectiveness
•Oversee internal audits and manage external audits, ensuring findings are corrected, verified, and closed on time
•Coordinate quality training, coach leaders and teams on quality principles, and promote a proactive quality culture

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent
•7+ years of food safety/quality experience in a food manufacturing or operational environment
•Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Food Manufacturing, or a related field
•Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) for Food and/or Feed
•Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to travel 25–40%
