Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess deployment sites ahead of installation by identifying prerequisites, constraints, and installation requirements.
  • •Install, assemble, connect, and bring up the system’s physical components and equipment on site.
  • •Install, configure, and parameterise the system’s software for each operational context, and commission end-to-end functionality across hardware and software.
  • •Contribute to deployment methodology, documentation, and playbooks that can be used across sites.
  • •Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues in the field, feeding recurring findings back to engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5 years of hands-on field or technical experience in field operations, systems integration, test, or manufacturing involving complex integrated hardware/software systems.
  • •Proficiency across both hardware and software deployment: assembling and connecting physical equipment and installing/configuring/parameterising software (comfortable on Linux).
  • •Electromechanical aptitude including hardware assembly, electrical hookup, and ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
  • •Networking fundamentals for connectivity setup and diagnostics.
  • •Ability to master a system as an expert user and teach/coach teams, with strong communication skills and training/enablement experience.
