Job Summary

Lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects supporting complex, strategic energy accounts across the UK & Ireland. Partner with sales to accelerate adoption of the data and AI platform, drive consumption revenue, and scale the team without sacrificing quality. Use AI to improve efficiency, coach new sales and pre-sales team members, and directly engage key stakeholders to speed technical implementation decisions while building Databricks’ brand in the region.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage hiring and onboarding and build the pre-sales Solutions Architect team.
•Rapidly scale the team when needed while maintaining quality.
•Drive accelerated platform adoption with Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles.
•Coach and mentor new sales and pre-sales team members to work together effectively.
•Engage key customer stakeholders to ensure and speed up projects and technical implementation decisions.

Key Requirements

•Experience in a pre-sales leader role, developing, managing, and building a team of Big Data, AI, or Cloud professionals.
•Customer-facing experience across the Energy, Resources and Utilities sectors in the UK and Ireland.
•Experience developing go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
•Experience supporting complex strategic accounts and sales cycles.
•Knowledge of data-driven decisioning, AI, and Cloud software models, with a focus on improving efficiency through processes.
