Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power circuits and control/automation systems used in pipeline/compressor station and plant operations.
  • •Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and PLC control systems.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance and inspection/maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and control systems.
  • •Maintain electrical switchgear and power distribution; perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair of station equipment.
  • •Complete documentation, follow safety/environmental/regulatory requirements, and oversee third-party construction and/or maintenance activities as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in a technical field (or equivalent skills and experience).
  • •Working knowledge of National Electric Codes and the ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
  • •Knowledge of electronic test instruments and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • •Knowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals, including safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high/low pressure systems.
  • •Ability to respond to station emergencies within 30 minutes and address callouts after hours while carrying a communication device.
