Maintain and troubleshoot electrical power circuits, mechanical equipment, and control/automation systems at a natural gas compressor station. Install, inspect, repair, calibrate, and adjust electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and PLC-based control systems; perform preventative and inspection/maintenance checks; and support engine/compressor/pump testing. Ensure safety and environmental compliance, complete required documentation, and may oversee third-party maintenance/construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power circuits and control/automation systems used in pipeline/compressor station and plant operations.
•Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and PLC control systems.
•Perform preventative maintenance and inspection/maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and control systems.
•Maintain electrical switchgear and power distribution; perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair of station equipment.
•Complete documentation, follow safety/environmental/regulatory requirements, and oversee third-party construction and/or maintenance activities as needed.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree in a technical field (or equivalent skills and experience).
•Working knowledge of National Electric Codes and the ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
•Knowledge of electronic test instruments and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
•Knowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals, including safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high/low pressure systems.
•Ability to respond to station emergencies within 30 minutes and address callouts after hours while carrying a communication device.
