Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and delivery of BMS/HVAC control strategies, and oversee system integration across building services to achieve performance targets.
  • •Coordinate subcontractors and internal resources for motor control panel design, software configuration, graphics, installation and commissioning scope.
  • •Apply controls engineering expertise to improve mechanical and electrical building systems and performance.
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to advocate for and deliver smart-building outcomes beyond direct design responsibilities.
  • •Lead systems integration design activities across building services to ensure cohesive and secure BMS solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Strategic BMS controls engineering experience with understanding of BMS software and best practices.
  • •Delivery of HVAC descriptions of operations and sequences of operations.
  • •Consulting experience, familiarity with RIBA Stages of work, multidisciplinary collaboration, and ability to lead projects.
  • •Mechanical Engineering background; open to applications from controls-focused MEP engineers.
  • •Detailed knowledge of major manufacturers’ equipment/systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, Trend, Delta Controls) and ability to design and specify implementations including cloud analytics, cybersecurity and network considerations.
