Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and lead a team of five inventory control specialists and establish a center of excellence to set policy, controls, and audit standards across the supply value chain.
  • •Own global inventory assurance by leading controls and reconciliation that provide Finance reliable inventory balances, aging, variances, valuation, reserves, write-off treatment, and quarter-end close.
  • •Run SOX 404 compliance for the inventory cycle end to end, including external auditor walkthroughs, Audit Committee presentations, and preparer/reviewer evidentiary separation.
  • •Architect the control framework for consigned-to-buy/sell transitions, designing scalable controls across OSAT operations through rack-scale system integration, including reverse logistics impacts.
  • •Manage continuous control assessment by detecting reconciliation anomalies, monitoring in-transit aging limits, governing off-SAP/non-valued locations, and leading variance investigations to documented root-cause resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of progressive experience owning inventory accounting, standard cost/variance analysis, reserve methodology, aging governance, write-off subject area, and related financial controls.
  • •End-to-end SOX 404 program ownership, including test of design/effectiveness and coordination with Big 4 external auditors and Audit Committee remediation.
  • •Hands-on SAP fluency across MM, WM, IM, and CO/FI, including cycle counting, book-to-book reconciliation, adjustment posting, inventory valuation, and SLOC-level reporting (e.g., MB51, MB52, LI20/LI21, LX26).
  • •Senior leadership experience in operations finance or inventory control within an international high-tech or semiconductor environment with multi-tier BOM complexity.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Operations, or demonstrated equivalent experience with 8+ years in management.
