Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, oversee, and coordinate all phases of assigned projects, including pre-construction, bid/award, construction, and closeout.
  • •Review pre-construction documents and provide comments to designers as needed; prepare and organize status/progress reports for upper management.
  • •Coordinate with public agencies and district/project staff to comply with off-site work requirements during pre-construction and construction.
  • •Manage daily contractor activities, including reviewing contracts, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and related documents.
  • •Manage project budget and schedule, negotiate change order proposals, monitor contractor/architect/engineer payments, and oversee closeout with DSA certification and financial closeout.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS and 6+ years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Experience in project/construction management for commercial and/or public/educational facility construction with responsibility for coordinating complex projects.
  • •CCM certification (preferred).
  • •Experience using Building Information Modeling (BIM) (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of Division of State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes and safety/OSHA requirements (preferred).
