•Lead architectural evolution of core storage engine components and resolve performance bottlenecks across indexing layouts, serialization formats, and resource utilization.

•Drive cross-organizational initiatives to build industry-leading observability solutions in collaboration with logs and metrics teams.
•Improve platform reliability and clarity by introducing clean coding standards and untangling complex system behaviors.
•Serve as an Elasticsearch subject matter expert, advising and mentoring engineers while triaging and reviewing issues and pull requests.

•Experience with storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Prometheus, with understanding of how they work.
•Proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive decisions/results in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
•Ability to use AI effectively to accelerate development and debugging while validating outcomes and owning final results.
