Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform overhaul, maintenance, and sustainment support for 3kW–150kW generators, including installation/removal, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC systems and electronic control components.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, chillers, and environmental control units in standalone and vehicle/trailer-mounted configurations.
  • •Maintain military-spec generators, commercial power generation equipment, and uninterrupted power systems (UPS).
  • •Operate a load bank and dynometer during testing, and fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.
  • •Provide on-site technical maintenance assistance and training to site operations and maintenance personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of related experience with generator and HVAC maintenance/rebuild.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within 12 months of the start date.
  • •U.S. citizenship required; US passport must not expire for at least 2 years.
  • •Experience with diesel engine rebuilds, generator parallel systems, and switch gear; troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems.
  • •EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
