Key Responsibilities

  • •Support a team of professionals to deliver traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design.
  • •Prepare plan sheets, specifications & estimates, technical memoranda, reports, presentations and other project documentation.
  • •Oversee ITS or emerging technology projects following the systems engineering process.
  • •Serve in various roles on traffic/ITS projects and contribute to deliverables.
  • •Review technical work and project documentation with Early in Career staff and provide guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Preferred minimum 5 years of experience with civil engineering fields such as traffic control design, traffic studies, ITS engineering, traffic staging within Agency and DOT standards and projects
  • •Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain PE license in 6 months
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills
  • •Experience using Traffic and Traffic Simulation Software and design platforms
