Key Responsibilities

  • •Own reconciliations across bank accounts, GL, product ledger, and gateways, ensuring zero unexplained variances at month-end.
  • •Run the reconciliation engine day to day by monitoring outputs, investigating breaks, and partnering with Ops, Product, and Engineering to resolve root causes.
  • •Automate remaining manual reconciliations and define exception logic for matches, flags, and escalations.
  • •Partner with the Accounting Manager to support month-end close, ensuring reconciliations are signed off, evidenced, and audit-ready.
  • •Build and maintain Finance dashboards for cash, burn, runway, and managerial P&L, including automating the weekly burn tracker.

Key Requirements

  • •1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a data-focused role, ideally in fintech, banking, or payments.
  • •Independently write solid SQL to answer Finance questions from scratch.
  • •Investigative mindset: dig into numbers, cross-check sources, and question outputs until you understand the cause.
  • •Experience building or maintaining Finance reports, trackers, or dashboards, with a focus on data trustworthiness.
  • •Based in the UAE or open to relocating to the UAE.
