Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee on-site installation, quality assurance, functional checkout, testing, and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure (medium/low voltage switchgear, transformers, switchboards, protection and control, UPS, data center equipment)
•Monitor deployment of power backup systems (medium voltage UPS, backup generators, BESS) and participate in substation protection system management
•Provide technical support for RFIs, temporary power, and electrical switching; track progress against milestones
•Coordinate with design teams and contractors to ensure Basis of Design and engineering specifications are met without compromising speed
•Lead commissioning activities with Crusoe’sCx team and act as electrical safety champion on site

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 196,000 - 235,000 annually

•5+ years of experience in mission-critical environments supporting construction and/or operations
•Deep practical understanding of electrical power distribution equipment assembly and installation
•Hands-on experience with on-site construction and partnering with third-party general contractors and electrical subcontractors
•Strong project management skills to monitor schedules, spot bottlenecks, and drive on-time completion
