Key Responsibilities

•Sponsor safety and environmental rules while ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and corporate requirements.
•Provide senior leadership for the Growth Projects portfolio across its full lifecycle (2027–2032).
•Lead planning and execution of a phased portfolio of capital projects and studies through PFS/FS, detailed design, execution, commissioning, and handover.
•Deliver projects against safety, scope, cost, schedule, quality, and value objectives within a structured governance framework.
•Direct EPC/EPCM contractors, consultants, and suppliers, managing tie-ins/shutdowns and ensuring seamless integration with site operations and operational readiness.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 164,000 - 202,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
•15+ years’ experience in capital project delivery within mining or heavy industrial environments.
•Demonstrated leadership in delivering large-scale capital portfolios ($500M–$1B+).
•Extensive brownfield execution experience in active operating facilities.
•Strong background in smelters/refineries/mills and experience with project governance, stage-gate processes, and commercial/contractual management for major capital projects.
