Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain the internal network, servers, endpoints, and cloud services.
  • •Establish and enforce device imaging/configuration baselines and manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, access permissions, and device inventory.
  • •Lead CPCSC compliance work and implement technical controls to protect controlled goods and controlled technical data under CGP and DSC obligations.
  • •Maintain patch management, endpoint protection, backup, and disaster recovery, and remediate gaps found in reviews or audits.
  • •Provide day-to-day IT support, manage IT vendors and core business systems/integrations, and support audits and incident response with accurate documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • •3 to 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure, ideally with sole or lead responsibility for an organization’s IT environment.
  • •Working knowledge of endpoint management, patch management, and standard network and cloud administration practices.
  • •Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, plus the ability to meet screening requirements of NVD’s CGP registration and obtain a CSP security clearance.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical risk into terms leadership can act on.
