Key Responsibilities

  • •Work as part of a system integration and test team to deliver robust hardware and software solutions that meet customer requirements on time and within budget.
  • •Develop test and trials strategies, write and conduct test procedures, and document test results.
  • •Support integration between inboard and outboard equipment and between Thales and third-party equipment.
  • •Assist Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification activities and support Customer Acceptance prior to offsite delivery.
  • •Support platform activities including Installation, Setting to Work (STW), trials, defect rectification, maintenance, and support for deployed systems on land and at sea.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical Degree/HND/HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical & Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
  • •3+ years’ experience in an equivalent role, or transferable knowledge across systems, hardware, firmware, or software engineering.
  • •Experience with systems engineering lifecycle, including IVVQ and mapping requirements to test activities.
  • •Experience generating test plans and associated test procedures, including conducting, reporting, and collating sell-off evidence.
  • •Full UK Driving License; UK National required and ability to achieve SC (Security Clearance).
