Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage relationships with carrier and client contacts, taking a significant role in meetings and calls.
  • •Own the renewal and marketing process end-to-end in conjunction with Account Executives and Advisors.
  • •Review benefit plan summaries and carrier source documents for accuracy and interpret plan rules for compliance with plan documents and summary plan descriptions.
  • •Review request for proposals and insurance plan analyses, negotiate with carriers, and recommend renewal actions and alternative funding strategies.
  • •Lead open enrollment presentations and oversee OE communication, update benefit guides, and support annual client compliance audits, including ensuring the 5500 form is filed on time.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 5+ years of industry and product line experience in benefits/employee benefits administration.
  • •BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience considered.
