Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Planner to join a mining construction team. The role focuses on coordinating project timelines, resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, through detailed scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and cross-team collaboration.

Job Function: Construction, Civil & Site Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Project Scheduling & Planning: develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and labor plans, coordinate with engineering and business operations leaders in Vegas, and create/manage project timelines and deliverables.
•Resource Management: allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials, and track/adjust resource allocation to meet changing project requirements and deadlines.
•Risk Management: identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and propose solutions to mitigate project disruptions, and develop contingency plans and maintain communication with stakeholders.
•Collaboration & Communication: work closely with project managers, engineering, and construction teams to ensure all parties are aligned with the project schedule and deadlines, and provide regular progress updates, including reports on schedule adherence and overall status.
•Continuous Improvement: analyze project data to identify trends and recommend improvements to scheduling processes, contribute to the ongoing development of best practices in construction planning.
