River & Flood Risk Civil Engineer

Deliver civil engineering river and flood defence schemes across the UK, from concept through to detailed hydraulic designs. Prepare and support business cases, develop outline and detailed flood project designs, and coordinate hydraulic structures for large infrastructure work. Prepare contractor work schedules/specifications, conduct asset inspection work, and supervise construction works when needed while collaborating with local authorities and environmental organisations.
