Job Summary

Support the Student Experience & Partnerships team by providing front-line information, advice, and services to new students and visitors during Welcome. Act as a welcoming ambassador for the University, answering questions, pointing people in the right direction, and helping guests settle in. Help deliver campus tours and Welcome events, manage queues, monitor updates in Teams and other communications, and gather feedback to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide front-line information, advice, and services to new students and visitors during Welcome, acting as an ambassador for the University.
•Engage with new students by answering questions, directing them appropriately, and reassuring them while interacting to support activities.
•Support the smooth running and operations of Welcome activities, including queue management and taking feedback.
•Adhere to safety measures and protocols laid out by the University and participate in required training.
•Support venue managers to manage events safely, and check Teams and other communications for updates.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 13.45 hourly

•Understanding of good customer service and ideally experience in a customer-facing environment.
