Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare credit approval summary packets manually and through Moody’s CreditLens.
  • •Create financial statement spreads and other credit-related items as needed.
  • •Perform basic to moderate financial analysis for commercial loan requests, supporting research and learning of loan structuring and cash flow.
  • •Research and understand loan documentation and various bank systems.
  • •Submit work for feedback and analysis, and share beginner-level knowledge during training and onboarding.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, with preference for Finance or Accounting (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •6 credit hours of Accounting coursework and 9 credit hours of Finance coursework (or related coursework required).
  • •Basic to intermediate knowledge of financial concepts, financial statements, and financial metrics including cash flow, leverage, and debt service coverage.
  • •Basic understanding of loan structure including cash flow thresholds, collateral pools, covenants, and other risk-mitigating techniques.
  • •Beginner level knowledge of Moody’s CreditLens and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
