Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, test, and maintain integrations with third-party platforms (PSAs, RMMs, identity providers) via REST APIs.
  • •Implement and troubleshoot OAuth and other authentication flows across multiple integration partners.
  • •Design and debug background job processing (Sidekiq) for sync jobs at scale, diagnosing flaky or slow jobs under load.
  • •Write and test back-end code, monitor performance, and troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • •Implement new features and integrations, improving existing ones while contributing to core billing and platform infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
  • •4+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer, Backend Engineer, or similar software engineering role.
  • •Strong fundamentals in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
  • •Depth working with REST APIs (consuming, integrating, and troubleshooting third-party APIs).
  • •Fluency with OAuth and other authentication/authorization flows, plus experience with background job systems (Sidekiq or similar) and PostgreSQL.
