  • •Lead and grow a team of engineers specializing in web application discovery, crawling, and attack surface enumeration.
  • •Set technical direction, methodology standards, and quality expectations; mentor engineers and manage performance across the team.
  • •Own discovery strategy for reliably finding pages, forms, API endpoints, parameters, and authentication surfaces within NodeZero.
  • •Oversee benchmark and regression testing so discovery coverage remains consistent as applications and frameworks evolve.
  • •Partner with Product and engineering teams to translate discovery gaps into prioritized roadmap input and productized capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5+ years leading engineering, security, or offensive security teams, with experience balancing technical depth and people responsibilities.
  • •Experience managing teams of 4–8+ engineers and comfort scaling as the organization grows.
  • •Strong understanding of modern web application structure, including routing, authentication flows, session management, and APIs.
  • •Familiarity with web crawling/spidering and discovery challenges posed by SPAs and multi-step authentication.
  • •Experience collaborating with software engineers using Python, plus familiarity with CI/CD workflows and ticketing systems like Jira.
