Principal Structural Engineer

Design and analyze complex steel structures for submarine structures, applying Eurocodes, British Standards, and BAE standards. Work with regulations such as LOLER, Codes of Compliance, Weld Specifications, and Geometric Tolerance, interpreting results from computer-based analytical techniques. Support manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, and installation, producing concept drawings and approving calculations. Collaborate with designers and engineers in the Production Engineering Department on safety-critical build activities.
