Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and guide improvements to the security posture of Intersight applications and delivery workflows across SaaS, on-premises, and mobile offerings.
  • •Interpret Cisco security mandates, policies, audit requirements, release gates, and security best practices into control expectations, acceptance criteria, and remediation priorities.
  • •Partner with development, architects, product management, SRE, and compliance to review new features and security-sensitive design changes, including authentication and data handling.
  • •Lead product security risk assessments and vulnerability management, including remediation prioritization across automated scans, penetration tests, release security reviews, and incident response activities.
  • •Define and contribute to security automation, reporting, and tooling to improve visibility and help teams consistently follow security requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 11+ years of proven experience.
  • •Deep security engineering experience across areas such as application security, cloud infrastructure security, authentication, encryption, data protection, key management, CI/CD security, vulnerability management, and/or incident response.
  • •Experience securing enterprise-scale SaaS, on-premises, or mobile offerings.
  • •Experience conducting security and architecture/threat/risk reviews and translating findings into practical guidance and remediation plans.
  • •Hands-on experience implementing security automation, hardening, vulnerability remediation, secure delivery improvements, or related DevSecOps capabilities.
