Job Summary

Lead Platform Services and FinOps for the Serco Europe cloud platform, translating technology strategy into operational processes, governance and measurable outcomes. Own the cloud platform operating model, drive governance, service performance and cost management, and coordinate internal teams and external providers to deliver reliable, scalable service outcomes across Architecture, Engineering and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and maintain the cloud platform operating model and governance artefacts
•Own platform service performance and reliability; define and monitor SLAs, OLAs, KPIs and service metrics; coordinate service transition, readiness and acceptance
•Lead the Platform Services & FinOps function and coordinate internal roles and external MSPs/partners
•Lead service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives; manage major incidents, escalations and service requests
•Coordinate internal teams and external providers; ensure accountability, hand-offs and effective stakeholder communication

Key Requirements

•Experience leading platform/service teams in a cloud environment within a large organisation.
•Experience managing internal teams and third-party providers within governance frameworks.
•Strong background in service management, operational governance and stakeholder engagement.
•Experience with KPIs, SLAs and continuous improvement frameworks.
•Degree in Computer Science or similar (as stated in job description)
