Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and programme management support for the Global Focal Point for WHO Collaborating Centres, including coordination, monitoring, and implementation of corporate initiatives.
  • •Coordinate and strengthen networks of WHO Collaborating Centres across technical programmes, regional offices, and external institutions to align with WHO priorities.
  • •Develop and implement partnership approaches (regional and thematic networks, twinning arrangements, and other models) to enhance technical collaboration and capacity strengthening.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and evaluate global and regional meetings, consultations, and forums, including communication, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and follow-up actions.
  • •Support designation, redesignation, and monitoring of WHO Collaborating Centres by providing technical guidance, quality assurance, and governance-process improvements, reporting contributions to GPW14 objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •First-level university degree in a relevant field such as public health, international relations, communications, public administration, organizational management, or business administration.
  • •At least five years of progressively responsible experience in programme management, governance, partnership coordination, stakeholder engagement, external relations, or implementation of international health initiatives.
  • •Experience coordinating global or regional events, consultations, or networks with WHO or other international partners (desirable).
  • •Knowledge of WHO policies, procedures, and governance processes (would be an asset).
  • •Expert ability to coordinate technical partnerships, analyze complex information, prepare high-quality technical and strategic materials, and manage workplans and stakeholder processes.
