Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide clerical and administrative support to health staff and patients to keep the clinic running smoothly.
  • •Manage electronic and hard-copy health records and data in accordance with Defence policies, privacy requirements, and compliance standards.
  • •Coordinate appointments and liaise with internal and external health service providers for continuity of care and timely patient information.
  • •Prepare reports, update health and personnel management systems, and assist with auditing activities for operational and compliance needs.
  • •Support day-to-day clinic operations including filing, mail distribution, photocopying, ordering stationery/stores, and processing supply requests.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 1 year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in an administrative role; medical setting highly desirable.
  • •Completion of a medical terminology course from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or willingness to complete.
  • •Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • •Sound computer literacy and experience with electronic health record systems (highly regarded).
