Job Summary

Senior Project Manager for WSP’s Earth & Environment project management group. Manages all life-cycle stages of environmental consulting projects (site characterization, remediation, permitting, water/wastewater treatment, mining) with budgets, schedules, and cross-disciplinary teams. Client-facing role requiring strong communication, accountability, and leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget across multiple US locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage budgets, scope, schedules, resourcing and client satisfaction while coordinating with cross-country teams and project coordinators.
•Familiarize yourself with project scope and objectives and ensure team members’ roles are understood to coordinate activities effectively.
•Use project management tools and best practices to plan and manage projects to meet stakeholder expectations and business needs.
•Maintain a client-facing stance with strong interpersonal skills, ethics, and integrity.
•Be action-oriented, resourceful, and accountable for self and team performance.

Salary: USD 89,600 - 156,600 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental, Business or related discipline
•Minimum of 5-7 years of post-education work experience
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental/mining consulting industry
•Minimum of 5-7 years work experience with private sector clients in mining, environmental, manufacturing, power, aggregates and/or water
•Demonstrated experience with project financial tracking and change management; understanding PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMI)
