Key Responsibilities

  • •Enter accurate vehicle information (e.g., VIN, stock number, make/model/year, mileage, color, options) into AS400 using a handheld Portable Terminal (PT) or via headset.
  • •Affix barcode/stock number stickers on each received vehicle and associate tracker devices to work orders; install on the OBD port or strap a 2nd generation tracker to the steering wheel.
  • •Key/strap all available keys, including lockboxes for EV and high-dollar vehicles; flag “no key” cars.
  • •Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles; provide proper sale identification windshield code for registration/check-in drivers.
  • •Direct transporters to proper car drop zones, report transport damage as needed, take digital images, and follow all safety and health procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

  • •Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
  • •Vision abilities required including close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
